Well what a year 2011 was, but the sisters of Alpha Gamma Delta are ready for such a great year in 2012!! We have so much going on from all of our new officers getting busy to work and soon we will have new Spring members joining our esteem chapter! There are so many great things going on so far and we are all more than excited to bring in the new year with all of our squirrely sisters!

Foundation month!

The ladies of Epsilon are very excited about Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation month for the month of October! We have been very busy with a sisterhood retreat to Camp Piomingo, our philanthropy event Band Jam, and getting ready for initiation! We also helped the new baby squirrels feel welcome with a new member retreat with roller skating and laser tag!

Baby Squirrels!

The long and hard, but fun (!) two weeks of recruitment is over and the effort DEFINATELY paid off! We welcome 63 beautiful, new baby squirrels on Bid Day! We couldn't be more excited to share our sisterhood with these amazing young women! School has started and everyone is getting back into the groove of classes and studying! Sisterhood retreat is next weekend and we will be staying over night at a camp about an hour away. We are looking forward to stories by the campfire, making smores, and sleeping in cabins with all of our sisters!

Spirit Week!

Spirit Week is finally upon us and all the girls are having fun spending lots of time with sisters and preparing to bring even more into our fabulous sisterhood! Spirit Week began on Sunday, August 8th and continues until Saturday, August 14th! So far 925 girls are registered to go through Formal Recruitment this year at the University of Kentucky! We are so excited to get to know the potential new members coming through!

Alumnae please make sure to check the alumnae list serve for an updated list of potential new members so that you can send us RIFS!

Also Alumnae night is Thursday, August 12th at 7:00PM and Friends and Family night is Friday, August 13th at 5:00PM! Come out and see a preview of all the hard work we have put into recruitment!

New Website!

Our new website will be up ASAP! There have been some technical problems, but as soon as those are fixed it will be up and running! We are really excited and hope everyone else loves it! Make sure to write a comment in the guestbook and send in your RIFs and Legacy Intros ASAP!

Officers move into the house on the 7th and the rest of the girls on the 8th and then Spirit Week kicks into high gear! We are really excited to start working on our skits and to start meeting the girls coming through!

Mark your calendars! Alum Night is Thursday August 12th and Friends and Family Night is August 13th! Come on out and show us your support!

Changes!

After going to Alpha Gamma Delta Convention 2010 we were inspired to make Alpha Gam "relevant" to today's society!
